Meet Tracy

I'm deeply rooted in Michigan - by choice, by values, and by heart. For most of my career, I've worked in the recycling and materials management/resource recovery industry, a path that allows me to align my professional life with what matters most: caring for people, protecting our planet, and living with intention.

At this stage in my life and career, I feel called to bring together everything I've learned-through leadership, service, family, and lived experience - and to create spaces that foster connection, healing, and meaning. Soulfully Rooted Collective reflects that calling: a place where we slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what grounds us.

I'm the proud parent of three young adult children, and family remains my truest north star. Some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones: time together at our family cottage, quiet mornings, and long walks that turn into meaningful conversations.

I share my life with two rescue dogs and have had the joy of fostering puppies along the way. Animals teach us about presence, patience, and unconditional love - lessons I carry with me daily.

Leadership and service are central to who I am. I've served on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Recycling Coalition for eight years, including time on the executive committee, and I'm an alum of the Great Lakes Leadership Academy's Emerging Leaders Program (Class of 2019). I've also taken specialized critical thinking, facilitative leadership and Fit Leaders training. These combined experiences have shaped how I lead—with empathy, collaboration, and care.

Nature is my sanctuary. I find grounding in forest trails, open water, national parks, and the rhythm of the outdoors. Yoga, hiking, kayaking, and travel that deepens perspective and connection keep me centered and inspired.

At my core, I'm a meaning-maker. I care deeply, love generously, and believe in living joyfully. Soulfully Rooted Collective is an invitation to live with greater intention - to honor where we come from, tend what sustains us, and choose joy even in imperfect seasons. I believe a meaningful life grows from being deeply rooted.
